Joshua Dopson is the visionary Founder and CEO of A&J Waste Management, bringing over a decade of financial and entrepreneurial expertise to the valet trash industry. A graduate of Lincoln University of Missouri with a degree in Finance, Joshua’s career began as a financial advisor—laying the foundation for what would become a diverse portfolio of business ventures and leadership roles.
He is also the founder of Dopson Management, a financial advising firm focused on wealth building, capital development, and long-term financial planning. With refined skills in day trading, real estate, app development, and public speaking, Joshua has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead with strategy and innovation across industries.
A&J Waste Management was born from Joshua’s passion for service, professionalism, and community. Under his leadership, the company not only delivers reliable, top-tier service to residents and property managers but also focuses on creating job opportunities, mentorship, and career growth for team members. His mission is to make a meaningful impact—one doorstep at a time.
Beyond business, Joshua is a dedicated community advocate. He is also involved with Tomorrow's Promise, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering minority youth by equipping them with the resources, guidance, and opportunities needed to reach their highest potential. Roderick Pearson Jr
With a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and community, Roderick brings a unique blend of experience to A&J Waste Management as the Co-Founder. A former collegiate athlete, he earned his degree in Business Administration from Oral Roberts University while excelling as a standout basketball player. His passion for the game took him overseas, where he played professionally in the Czech Republic, gaining invaluable international experience and cultural perspective.
After returning to the U.S., Roderick transitioned into the professional world, working as a processor while also building his own entrepreneurial ventures — including owning and operating a successful smoke shop. His diverse background reflects his entrepreneurial mindset and ability to lead across multiple industries.
Beyond business, he is passionate about giving back. He dedicates time to coaching and training young athletes, helping them build both skill and character. His commitment to serving the community is at the heart of his role with A&J Waste Management, where he strives to deliver reliable, customer-focused service and create meaningful job opportunities in neighborhoods that need convenient waste solutions.
